How long does dry ice last?

Our dry ice nuggets remain usable in the insulated box for several days and show a relatively low weight loss of approx. 15-17 % per day (depending on the outside temperature).

Our insulated boxes with a wall thickness of 30–40 mm provide excellent insulation. However, dry ice still sublimates slowly even in a closed box – this is physically unavoidable.

Note: Choose our nuggets or ice packs if you need longer shelf life and maximum safety for longer transport times.

Our tip: Open the box as rarely as possible and use the dry ice promptly.
