Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide (CO₂) with a temperature of approximately −78.5 °C. Unlike regular ice, dry ice does not melt but sublimates directly from solid to gas. This process is called sublimation.

What does dry ice cost?
Depending on the size of the parcel, 1 kg of dry ice costs around 2 euros. Further costs are incurred for express delivery and the thermal box. In total, it is around 3-7 euros per kilo of dry ice. The larger the quantity, the cheaper the price per kilo.
How is dry ice shipped?
We ship the dry ice in sturdy polystyrene thermoboxes with a wall thickness of up to 40 mm, depending on the type, to ensure optimum cooling.
Where can you buy dry ice?
The easiest way to buy dry ice is from us at Trockeneis.shop.
